AALO, Sep 17: The Ayushman Bharat Pakhwada (ABP), which is being celebrated from 15-30 September, was launched in West Siang district by DC Swetika Sachan at the New Market government secondary school here on Monday.
The DC urged all the beneficiaries to register their names for the PM Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) and the CM Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY) in order to avail the benefits of the health insurance programmes. She also spoke about right eating habits and nutritional value of foods.
DMO Dr Moli Riba briefed the teachers, students and others who attended the programme on the PMJAY and the CMAAY.
Later, DFWO Dr Tomar Kamki distributed WIFS tablets to the students and teachers.
Headmaster Eken Bam and WCD Deputy Director (in-charge) Bahi Koyu were also present. (DIPRO)
