ITANAGAR, Sep 22: Nang Esha Mein brought laurels to the state by winning two gold medals in the Inter-School Archery Competition – Far East Zone organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education at Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh from 9 to 11 September.
She won the medals in the 30 mtr and 40 mtr Indian rounds event in the U-17 category.
A Class 9 student of Royal Global School (RBS) in Guwahati, Assam, Esha (14) is the daughter of Chow Tseng tsing Mein and Nang Semina Mein of Namsai district.
She was among the eight-member team that represented RBS in the event. Her school was also adjudged the overall champion of the event.
