ITANAGAR, Sep 23: Yingkiong (Upper Siang)-based Anti-Corruption and Social Welfare Activist Forum has written to the chief minister, seeking to draw his attention to various issues “affecting the people of the district in general and the residents of Yingkiong in particular.”
The forum raised concern over poor mobile connectivity, erratic power supply, selling of toxic chemicals for agriculture and horticulture activities, etc.
It also alleged that the departments do not follow the CPWD guidelines while awarding contract works, and added that departments’ staffs and government properties are being used for private purposes.
