Ering advises SHGs to take up entrepreneurial activities

PASIGHAT, Oct 16: Pasighat-West MLA Ninong Ering advised the self-help group (SHG) members to take up entrepreneurial activities to become self-employed.
Attending a programme of the Arunachal State Rural Livelihood Mission-run women’s SHG at Debing village under Ruksin circle in East Siang district on Tuesday, Ering said the plain fertile lands under his constituency are “very suitable for agriculture, horticulture, fishery and various other farming activities.”
He advised the unemployed youths to harness the potentials to its fullest, and assured all possible help to the active SHGs under ASRLM projects.
The Debing Woman SHG has been taking up entrepreneurial activities, like handloom and handicrafts, besides helping needy and poor ones from time to time.
The group members also took part in mass cleaning activities under Swachchata-hi-sewa Abhiyan, initiated by the state government.
Ruksin ADC Kabit Apang, Pasighat DIET lecturer Dui Gao, former Ruksin Anchal Chairperson Aruni Jamoh and the local gaon burahs attended the programme.
