WAKKA, Oct 22: The Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board organised a ‘spot registration-cum-labour awareness camp’ here in Longding district on 20 October.
The board’s district registering officer informed that, while 813 casual labourers could be registered, many others had to be denied registration “due to lack of relevant documents like Aadhar cards, ST/PR certificates and other needed documents.”
Among other, the deputy commissioner and the Londging CO also attended the camp.
