CHANGLANG, Oct 25: With an objective to reduce suicide cases in the district, the Changlang District Health Society organised post World Mental Health Day with theme “Suicide Prevention” at DIET auditorium here on Friday.
Speaking on occasion, Changlang ADC, Talo Jerang advised the youth to have faith in their family and share their all kinds of problems with them.
DDSE H Loyi advocated involving more youth in such important programme in future.
He expressed concern over frequent suicides in the district.
Earlier, Mental Health Programme Officer Dr RC Das spoke on risk factor and protective factors of suicides. He appealed to all the participants to work to reduce suicidal cases.
DRCHO, Dr J Ado also spoke on the occasion.
Skit play competition on the key theme and a mass rally involving the students of DIET and various other schools from Changlang township area were also organized. DIPRO
