NAHARLAGUN, Oct 25: UNCC Legends (UNCCL) defeated E Sector Cricket Club (ESCC) by 8 wickets in the opening match of the A Sector Youth Welfare Association T20 Cricket Championship played at Model Village ground here on Friday.
After winning the toss, ESCC decided to bat first and scored 52 runs in 14 over, losing all the wickets.
UNCCL chased the target in 10 over, losing two wickets.
The tournament is organised by A Sector Youth Welfare Association.
Ten teams– Ajin Arum Cricket Club, UNCC Legends, Nirjuli Cricket Club L, Jene Tene Cricket Club, ESCC, Friendship Cricket Club Doimukh, United Sagalee, Dabang XI Cricket Club, Faster XI Cricket Club and Paat Xl Cricket Club are participating in the tournament.
Arunachal Chamber of Commerce President Tarh Nachung and All Capital Complex Wine Shop Association Chairman Tadar Raja attended the inaugural event.
