ANINI, Oct 28: The Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) conducted awareness programmes at Maliney and Anelih here in Dibang Valley district on 12 and 13 October.
The programme, which was conducted in collaboration with the AAPWU’s district unit, was aimed at disseminating information among casual/contingency workers of government departments, BRO labourers and daily wage earners to get registered with the board.
The workers were also informed about the statutory benefits like marriage and education assistance, housing loan, etc, as well as the non-statutory benefits for those who are registered with the APB&OCWWB.
