AALO, Oct 30: Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak has strongly objected to the practice of absenteeism among government servants and termed it “detrimental to development.”
Claiming that absenteeism among government servants create resentment among the people, the MLA gave specific directions to the ADCs of Yomcha and Kamba to list out all government servants who are reported to remain absent from their posting places at Liromoba, Yomcha, Darak and Kamba.
He further urged all government servants to stay in their places of posting to render essential services to the people of the said areas.
The Kargu Kardi Students’ Union(KKSU) had also requested the MLA to
initiate directives against irregular government staff at Liromoba, Darak and Yomcha administrative circles in a representation.
It had also informed Karbak that “several departments are dysfunctional due to irregular staffs.” (With DIPRO inputs)
