AALO, Nov 1: The National Unity Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, was observed by the West Siang district administration and police with a marathon run on 31 October.
The ‘Run for unity’ was flagged off from Gumin Kiin.
Later, all the officials from district administration, the police and various other departments assembled at the DC’s office premises, where DC C Chukhu administered the national integration pledge to them.
The day was also observed by the ITBP. Assistant Commandant Tejbahan Singh administered the national unity pledge to the jawans of the paramilitary force. (DIPRO)
