GUWAHATI, Nov 7: Arunachal Pradesh Assistant Tourism Director Bengia Manna Sonam was conferred the ‘Balipara Foundation Award’ by former ambassador to the European Union, Chandrasekhar Dasgupta, at a city hotel here in Assam on Wednesday.
The award ceremony was in the 7th year of the Eastern Himalayan Naturenomics Forum, where organizations from across the world meet to support the biodiversity and the indigenous people of the region, including Northeast India, North Bengal, Eastern Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
