CHIMPU, Nov 17: The Capital Complex Si-Donyi Football Tournament was kicked off by 1st AAPBn Commandant M Harsha Vardhan at the battalion ground here on Sunday.
Vardhan urged the teams to play the game in a friendly manner, maintaining the spirit of sportsmanship.
Festival celebration committee chairman Make Bui and secretary Reri Tabu Luchi also spoke.
In the opening match, Abotani FC came from one goal behind to beat Turbu Dalv 2-1.
Lonia Gumja put Turbu Dalv ahead, scoring within the first minute. However, Pumin Sikom and Tatu Riamuk scored a goal each for Abotani FC in the second half.
