ITANAGAR, Nov 26: The third annual sports meet of the Himalayan University (HU) began here on Tuesday.
Industrialist Ha Tatu declared the meet open in the presence of HU vice-chancellor Dr HS Sharma, registrar Dr Vivek Mittal, former student leader Tarh Tahi, and others.
Tatu motivated the students to get involved in games, sports and other positive activities. The students of Arunachal should take interest in sports and should make India proud, he said.
The sports meet will conclude on 29 November.
