BOMDILA, Dec 11: The 4th district level football and volleyball tournaments for the Hangpan Dada Memorial Trophy (HDMT) for West Siang began at Buddha stadium here in West Kameng district on Wednesday.
Inaugurating the tournament, Deputy Commissioner Sonal Swaroop called upon the young players to avail the opportunity to show their talent. She advised the players to maintain sportsman spirit.
Eight teams from the four assembly constituencies of the district are taking part in the three days event.
The first match of football was played between Kalaktang XI and Thrizino XI, in which the latter won by 3-0. DIPRO
