BOMDILA, Dec 19: EROs, AEROs, HoDs, nodal officers and circle-level master trainers of West Kameng district are participating in a two-day training programme on formation of electoral literacy clubs (ELC) in polling stations, offices, establishments, undertakings, etc, which got underway here on Thursday.
Bomdila ADC Gombu Tsering urged the participants to “take up the task on a mission mode,” saying “the onus lies not only on the ECI but also on all the functionaries and stakeholders to ensure that the voters and to-be voters are educated in a more precise manner.”
ERO S Khandu and AERO Kesang Wangda also advised the participants to be instrumental in making the electioneering process more vibrant and effective.
State-level master trainer Tamo Riba and district-level master trainer Tenzing Dolma presented an overview on the ELC/SVEEP and conducted the first day’s training. (DIPRO)
