ITANAGAR, Jan 8: The All Arunachal Pradesh Contractual Employees Association has submitted a memorandum to the chief minister, seeking establishment of recruitment rules (RR) through a government notification prescribing all the terms and conditions and specifying the rights and privileges of the contractual government staffs of the state.
The association also said that the vacancies that occur owing to promotion and retirement of government employees “should be completely reserved for the existing contractual employees, apart from certain reservation from the newly created posts.”
It also sought death benefits/gratuity for the contractual employees.
