ITANAGAR, Jan 17: A batch of 25 villagers and landowners from Upper Siang, Shi-Yomi, Lower Dibang Valley and Anjaw districts is leaving on an exposure trip on 18 January to hydroelectric projects developed in the Himalayan region of the country.
The hydropower department, which is organising the trip, said it is aimed at “helping the local landowners as well as the officials of the department to evaluate the benefits and potentials of hydroelectric projects in the Himalayan region.”
