SENUA, Jan 30: Longding MLA Tanpho Wangnaw inaugurated Shantimandal Holy Spirit School at Senua village, in Longding district, on Thursday.
The MLA lauded the Holy Spirit congregation and the Catholic community “for their relentless contributions towards social and educational development of the Wancho community.”
He thanked the people of Senua for donating land for the establishment of the school, and assured the school authority of upgrading the school to the higher secondary level in the near future.
Wangnaw also placed before the Catholic authorities the proposal to establish a Don Bosco college in Longding district, saying he would arrange land for the purpose.
