BORGULI, Jan 31: Anti-Leprosy Day was observed with a ‘leprosy awareness rally’ here in East Siang district on Thursday.
The programme also included Sparsh leprosy awareness campaign at the PHC here, in which the health staff, including ASHAs, anganwadi workers and GBs, participated.
District Leprosy Officer, Dr Tarik Talom, elaborated the aims and objectives of the Sparsh leprosy awareness campaign.
PHC MO Dr James Koni Tayeng and the GBs also spoke.
A book published by East Siang District Leprosy Society was distributed among the participants. (DIPRO)
