JOLLANG, Feb 15: BSW students of the Don Bosco College here participated in a workshop on ‘inclusive gender ecological farming’, organised by the college from 12-13 February under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.
During the workshop, SPREAD-NE secretary-general and ecological farmer, Samir Bordoloi, and ecological farming expert Balarisha Lyngdoh shared their experiences with the students, and highlighted the importance of organic farming.
The two also demonstrated preparation of compost heap, vermicompost and bio-intensive raised bed.
