BANDERDEWA, Feb 16: Doimukh MLA Tana Hali Tara and Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso on Saturday released an ‘anti-liquor and narcotic drugs video album’ brought out by the Nyishi Baptist Church Council (NBCC) to create awareness on the ill-effects of drugs in the society.
The album was released as part of the three-day annual conference of the NBCC, which concluded at the Dobam Baptist church near here on Saturday.
NBBC general secretary, Rev Chowram Daimari, and Arunachal Christian Forum president, Toko Teki, also attended the conference.
A lecture on the NBCC’s ‘Clean election campaign’ was delivered by Christian Literature, NBCC secretary, Rev Halli Likha.
NBCC pioneers Rev Ter Tana Tara, Rev Khoda Tana, Neelam Taram and Toko Kach delivered messages on various topics.
More than 5000 delegates from various districts attended the conference, which was organised by the Nirjuli and the Doimukh and Kimin pastoral ranges.
