DARKA, Feb 18: Around 2000 members of 12 self-help groups (SHG) representing women from Riga, Ruksin, Mebo, Basar, Aalo East, Aalo West, Geku, Boleng, Pangin, Jenging, Rumgong and Yingkiong participated in an event themed ‘Siang Ane Gidum’, organized at Darka village in West Siang district by the rural development department on Monday.
The programme provided a platform to the SHG members to discuss social issues, as well their experiences and the issues faced by them in different districts. (DIPRO)
