Financial inclusion outreach initiative prog launched

ITANAGAR, Feb 26: A three-day financial inclusion outreach initiative programme for the state of Arunachal Pradesh was launched by Dibrugarh branch State Bank of India Deputy General Manager (B&O), Uttam Kumar Hazra Chowdhury at a city hotel here on Wednesday.
Organized as per the directives of department Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, GoI, the programme focused on providing credit to entrepreneurs belonging to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) and ensuring saturation of KCC loan for PM Kisan beneficiaries.
It was informed during the meeting that the state has more than 66,000 registered PM Kisan beneficiaries and the bank’s target is to provide KCC loan to all such eligible farmers under this category. It was also announced that enrolment under the social security scheme of PMJJBY (premium of Rs 330 per annum) and PMSBY (premium of Rs 12 per annum) will also be carried out.
The programme was attended by all scheduled banks, including private sector banks and co-operative banks in Itanagar.
