PASIGHAT, Feb 26: Hundreds of aspirants and students attended a free seminar for UPSC/ APPSC, which was held at the College of Horticulture & Forestry auditorium here in East Siang district on Wednesday.
The seminar was organized by the Alternative Learning System (ALS) satellite education, in collaboration with the Donyi Polo Mission, Itanagar under the directorship of Mone Yonggam.
Addressing the seminar, ALS CEO Jojo Mathews briefed about the significance of preparing for the UPSC/ APPSC, keeping in mind the subjects’ availability and how and what to study for competitive exams.
While interacting with the aspirants, he also emphasized on keeping the right value of knowledge and positive behaviour towards everything as future administrators.
The ALS institute for Pasighat is initiated and founded by former MLA Omak Apang, who stated that “the venture will not only benefit the aspirants preparing for the UPSC/ APPSC, but also provide education to their doorstep, paving way for a new learning system in the entire eastern belt of Arunachal Pradesh.”
