RONO HILLS, Mar 11: A coordination meeting on ‘physical education profession’ was held at the yoga hall of the Rajiv Gandhi University here on 9 March.
Arunachal Pradesh Physical Education Association (APPEA) secretary general Thomas Ering, who presided over the meeting, informed that the main objective of the meeting was to promote physical education profession and to create awareness among the people of the state and the legislators about the need to recruit physical education teachers in every school, assistant district sports officer in every district and also deputy directors and assistant directors in every college and university in the state.
The APPEA executive members and the Bachelor of Physical Education students (2nd and 4th semesters) of the RGU participated in the meeting.
