ITANAGAR, Mar 26: The Lohit district administration will allow the grocery stores in the district to open from 8 am to 11 am every day.
All designated grocery stores, vegetable vendors and other essential service providers, including pharmacies, will remain open during the time. The retail outlets of POL and LPG dealers will also remain open from 8 am to 11 am every day.
“All these shops will (otherwise) remain closed for services to ensure that there is no unnecessary movement of people. However, home delivery of permissible items through MeeBuddy shall be allowed,” read an order issued by DC Prince Dhawan.
Grocery and departmental stores, along with pharmacies have been directed to “integrate with MeeBuddy compulsorily.”
Since the app was launched three days ago, it has received more than 900 orders.
