SHILLONG, Mar 28: The NEEPCO authority here in Meghalaya has advised all its operating power plants to extend all possible assistance to the local administrations in helping the communities around the plant/project areas in terms of essential medical supplies, dry ration, ambulance service, etc.
Stating that the power plants are presently being run by bare minimum manpower, the NEEPCO has instructed the heads of all its plants to take proper care of the employees.
“The contractor’s workmen manning essential services like power supply and safety repair activities will be extended all possible assistance,” it said.
