KHONSA, Apr 4: Khonsa West MLA Chakat Aboh on Saturday handed over a month’s salary, amounting to Rs 1.20 lakh, to Tirap SP Kardak Riba for procuring personal protection equipment (PPE) for the police personnel on Covid-19 duty.
She informed that she is procuring a good number of PPE for distribution among the frontline health workers in the district, “and the items are likely to reach here within a couple of days.”
The SP said the donation would be utilized judiciously for procurement of facemasks, hand gloves and sanitizers. (DIPRO)
