ITANAGAR, Apr 15: The All Arunachal Contractors Welfare Association (AACWA) has urged the state government to clear all cheques issued to the contractors immediately by lifting the ban order.
The association said the contractors, including petty ones, are facing great problem in feeding their workers due to delay in clearing the cheques.
While welcoming the state government’s decision to allow resumption of the construction works, it said “the government should allow entry of construction materials, like steel and cements from other parts of state”.
