Admin reviews lockdown measures

BOMDILA, Apr 18: The West Kameng district administration on Saturday reviewed the measures to be adopted after 20 April, during the second phase of the nationwide lockdown.
At a meeting here between administrative officers, the police and the task force, major thrust was given to contingency plans for screening at Bhalukpong, transportation, and institutional quarantine for probable returnees to West Kameng, East Kameng and Tawang districts, in the event that the Assam government allows one-time movement within Assam after 20 April.
The meeting also reviewed matters such as adherence to the physical distancing guideline, transportation of essential commodities and medicines, and the economic and welfare activities carried out upto 17 April.
All the circle officers were directed to incorporate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s seven-point plan in the IEC campaigns in the circles. (DIPRO)
