ITANAGAR, Apr 21: State Election Commissioner (SEC) Hage Kojeen has volunteered to contribute 30 percent of his gross salary of a month initially to the chief minister’s relief fund (CMRF) to be used in combating Covid-19.
The SEC has also appealed to others to “contribute as per one’s capacity, at different levels, to strengthen the hands of the state government as well as the district administration during this period of national crisis.”
Lauding the efforts of those who are on the frontline of the fight against the coronavirus, Kojeen urged the people to observe the guidelines issued by the government during the lockdown.
