NAMSAI, Apr 24: The fisheries department here, in collaboration with the district administration, is facilitating supply of local fishes to local outlets, as well as for home delivery.
“No less than 0.84 tons of fishes have been sold since the lockdown was enforced,” informed the department.
A departmental vehicle is being engaged for transportation of the fishes produced by the local progressive farmers from far-flung villages to various local outlets here.
“The fish sources available in the district will meet the demands for at least a month or till the lockdown is lifted,” the department said.
