KHONSA, May 6: Tirap MLAs Wanglam Sawin and Chakat Aboh visited the quarantine centres here at the Don Bosco School, meant for female occupants and the polytechnic building meant for male occupants and took stock of all necessary beddings and essential commodities.
Accompanied by DC PN Thungon, ADC Kretkam Tikhak, DMO Dr Koblem Mossang and sector officers, the MLAs interacted with the occupants in both the quarantine centres and assured to redress the grievances of inmates, if any.
All the inmates expressed their satisfaction over arrangement made by the Tirap district administration.
Meanwhile, Circle Officer and Nodal Officer (Covid-19) Hukanjuri quarantine centre, DK Thungdok met with his Assam counterparts, the CO and SDPO of Naharkatia at Hukanjuri check gate and had a conversation regarding stranded persons of Assam and travelling plan thereof. (DIPRO)
