RONO HILLS, May 16: The five days online FDP on ‘Critical theories and their contemporary trajectories in humanities’ came to a close at the Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) on Saturday.
The FDP was conducted by the English department of the RGU.
Addressing the valedictory function, RGU Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Amitava Mitra hoped that the programme proved fruitful for the participants.
Finance Officer Prof Otem Padung and RGU Faculty of Languages Dean Prof Oken Lego expressed their belief that such programmes will also be arranged by the English department in the future for the benefit of the participants in their academic pursuit.
Resource persons and participants in the FDP, while giving their valuable feedback, expressed satisfaction at the way the department conducted the programme giving them the exposure in all the relevant areas that are broadly expected to be covered under the present FDP theme.
Conveners Dr PN Piraji and Dr CK Panda also spoke at the valedictory function.
