AALO, Jul 21: West Siang District Surveillance Officer Dr Jombom Kato and a medical team carried out contact tracing at the ITBP quarantine centre (QC) and other QCs in Aalo town on Tuesday.
Forty-six samples were collected, out of which one tested positive. The patient was immediately shifted to the Covid care centre.
With this, the tally of Covid-19 positive cases here has gone up to three – one in the ITBP QC and two in paid QCs.
Meanwhile, lockdowns are being enforced in different villages and communities in the district, and village deres and schools are being used for home quarantining.
