RGU to organize lecture series on ‘Nation, Icons and Peace’

RONO HILLS, 17 Mar: International Centre for Gandhian and Peace Studies (ICGPS), department of history, Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), in collaboration with the Gandhi King Foundation, Hyderabad and RGNIYD (NERC) located at RGU will be organizing  lecture series on ‘Nation, Icons and Peace’ from 18 to 20 March.

Well-known Gandhian scholar, Prof Prasad Gollanapalli will deliver lectures on Mahatma Gandhi and Sahid Bhagat Singh, whereas writer, columnist and senior journalist Narendra Bhadauria will be delivering his lecture on Pt Deen Dayal Upadhaya.

The three-day programme will also include, apart from academic sessions, a poetry session with students from the departments of English and Fine Arts and Music as well as reading excerpts from Gandhi’s own writings by the students of the departments of History and Education of the university.
