CHIMPU, 19 Apr: Health Minister Alo Libang along with top officials of the health department on Monday visited the dedicated Covid hospital (DCH) here.
Libang made the visit after the hospital started functioning due to a surge in Covid infections in the state. He interacted with the officials, medical officers and the staffers working in the hospital.
He assured the healthcare workers of all support from the state government in the fight against the Covid pandemic. He also urged the officials to work with sincerity and dedication, stating that the state is passing through a critical period.
TRIHMS Director Dr Moji Jini, who was also present, briefed the minister on the preparedness of the DCH and the Covid care centres.
