NAHARLAGUN, 10 Sep: Itanagar Capital Region DC Talo Potom has urged the panchayat leaders and GBs to identify and demarcate the boundaries of their respective villages to avoid land disputes and facilitate proper implementation of developmental activities in the villages.
“As the boundaries are not properly demarcated, various issues like land disputes occur, and once proper demarcation is carried out, such cases of disputes could be avoided,” the DC said during a meeting with the GPCs, GPMs and GBs of Borum, Sood and Model villages and Tarajuli area here on Thursday.
Other important issues pertaining to gaon burahs, village authorities, etc, were also discussed.
