ITANAGAR, 18 Sep: The Himalayan University’s (HU) pharmaceutical sciences and nursing departments observed the World Patient Safety Day on 17 September.
Attending the programme, HU Vice Chancellor Prof HS Sharma shared his views on patient safety, while pharmaceutical sciences department’s head Dr BR Sarkar delivered a speech on the topic ‘Patient safety by means of drug safety’.
Head of nursing department, Kipu Ori delivered a lecture on ‘safe maternal and newborn care.’
An interaction programme was also held with the participants.
The dean (Academics) and the heads of other departments also attended the programme.
