ITANAGAR, 1 Oct: The Itanagar Smart City Development Corporation Limited (ISCDCL) kicked off the celebration of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on Friday to commemorate India’s 75 years of independence.
The theme of the first day of celebration was ‘Freedom from crime’. The various features of the integrated command and control centre (ICCC) under the ISCDCL were demonstrated to different groups, such as government officers, corporators, media persons, professors from Dera Natung Government College, and police personnel from 9 am to 6 pm.
ISCDCL Executive Engineer Sonkoli Sonam presented a brief on the security features available with the ICCC.
He explained and demonstrated various components like emergency call box system, public address system, variable message display system, environmental sensors, drone camera surveillance, rapid deployment emergency response system, etc.
It was also informed that a mobile application for Itanagar city, integrating all services, is being developed as a component of the ICCC.
ISCDCL CEO Dahey Sangno responded to various questions from the media persons.
