RUKSIN, 17 Nov: ‘Sinung Bi:bing,’ an Arunachali short film produced by renowned artist Delong Padung was released by Pasighat West MLA Ninong Ering during a ceremony held at Ruksin RWD guest house here on Monday last amidst the presence of government officials and PRI leaders.
The film expresses the morale of an Arunachali girl, her modesty towards non-Arunachali guests from the mainland and focuses on the involvement of Arunachali women within the community and the society.
While lauding Delong Padung’s efforts for promoting the tradition of Adi community and other communities, MLA Ninong Ering said, “The story of the film is very realistic and it would send a message to youngsters to love their own land.”
Ruksin Range Forest Officer Yide Potom, All Adi Artist Association chairman Nalo Jerang, ZPMs- Aruni Jamoh and Bimal Lego also attended the launching ceremony.
Delong Padung is a member of the National School of Drama and Sangeet Natak Academy.
