CDPO passes away

ITANAGAR, 20 Jan: Tamen-Raga (Kamle) CDPO Dani Loma breathed his last on 19 January, at around 6:30 pm, in a hospital in Guwahati, Assam.

He is survived by his wife, four sons and a daughter.

Loma was born on 3 March, 1966 in Hija village in Lower Subansiri district. He had joined government service as a statistical assistant at the Roing ICDS project in Lower Dibang Valley district on 15 September, 1994.

In a condolence message, the Arunachal Pradesh Child Development Project Officers’ Welfare Association (APCDPOWA) expressed deep grief and shock over Loma’s sudden demise.

“He was a sincere and dedicated officer and served the department for more than 27 years, for which the organization shall always remember him,” the APCDPOWA said, and offered prayers to the almighty to give strength to the bereaved family in this hour of grief.

A condolence meeting was held at the WCD directorate here on Thursday, where late Loma’s colleagues and other staff observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect for the departed soul.
