DAPORIJO, 5 Feb: Writer and youth leader Tamok Gyadu passed away at Tadak Dulom Hospital here in Upper Subansiri district on Thursday after a prolonged illness.
Gyadu, who was popularly known as Doga Gyadu, was a young and energetic youth leader. He had compiled a book on the genealogy of different clans of the Tagin tribe.
Several organizations, including the Bagang Abu Youth Welfare Society and the Tam Tadu Welfare Society (TTWS), expressed profound grief over Gyadu’s premature demise and offered condolences to the bereaved family.
The TTWS termed his death a great loss for the society.
