Assn writes to UD&H CE regarding disqualification of candidates

ITANAGAR, 11 Feb: Stating that the human resource development ministry has “withdrawn the recognition and equivalence of the programmes offered by the Institute of Civil Engineers (India) and a few other institutes with effect from 1 June, 2013,” the Arunachal Pradesh Unemployed Sportsperson for Reservation Association has written to the UD&H chief engineer (CE) to “disqualify the candidates who were issued degrees, diplomas and other technical course certificates by those institutes after 31 May, 2013 applying for JE posts in the department.”

The association said that an advertisement was floated by the UD&H department on 22 December, 2021 for recruitment of candidates for two posts of junior engineer (civil) under the MSP.

The association in its letter to the CE said that “all those students who are enrolled with the institution with permanent recognition upto 31 May, 2013 would only be eligible for consideration, in accordance with the MHRD office memorandum/order in force pertaining to their course for equivalence in central government jobs.”
