ITANAGAR, 12 Feb: Laa Robin of Kra Daadi and Taku Neha of the ICR won the boys’ and the girls’ U-17 singles title, respectively, in the 4th Sub-Junior and Junior State Ranking Badminton Tournament, 2022, which concluded here on Saturday.
Robin defeated Lobsang Choidrup of Tawang, while Neha beat Montily Pul of Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy (SLSA) in the finals to clinch the titles.
In the boys’ U-17 doubles, Robin, pairing with Nabam Doch of Papum Pare, beat the duo of Aji Linggi of Lower Dibang Valley (LDV) and Lobsang Choidrup of Tawang in the final to win the title.
The pair of Jeelo Linggi and Beryl M Saring of LDV beat Aji Linggi and Wula Linggi from the same district in the final to win the mixed doubles title.

ASBA secretary (COC) Penya Bagra was the competition’s director.
The tournament was organized by the ASBA, under the aegis of the Badminton Association of India.
