JAIRAMPUR, 28 Mar: A weeklong football selection trial for boys (U-13, U-15 and UU-18) by Delhi-based club Sudeva FC began at the Setong Sena Stadium here in Changlang district on Monday.
“A total of 120 players turned up for the trials. Of them, 40 players have been selected for the second phase of the selection trial-cum-coaching to be held from Tuesday,” Changlang DSO Noah Mongku said.
The final selection trial will be conducted at the general ground in Miao on 3 April.
The selected player will be provided free football coaching with scholarship at Sudeva FC, Delhi.
The trial selection is being helmed by the DSO.
He said that Changlang DC Devansh Yadav and MLA Laisam Simai have provided all necessary support to conduct the selection trial.
