Career guidance prog. for final year students

PASIGHAT, 13 Apr: A one-day coaching, career guidance and counseling workshop targeting the final year students of BA, BSc and B.Com was organized by the career counseling and guidance cell of JN College at the New RUSA Hall, JNC Upper Campus here on Wednesday.

Assistant prof. of economics and the coordinator of the CC&G cell, Nong Tayeng stated that the programme was organized with the objective to provide final year students with skills and knowledge that will help them make important decisions in their life.

The technical session emphasized on making students understand certain requirements for facing various job opportunities in their life and motivate students for their overall personality development.

Resource persons, Dr. M. Mossang, Dr. Manish Shukla and Nong Tayeng interacted with the students on how to choose their future careers after graduation.

Earlier, attending the inaugural session, principal Dr. Tasi Taloh said that such programmes are very important to provide guidance to students about their career choices.

The inaugural function was also attended by vice principal Dr. S.D. Choudhary and IQAC coordinator Dr. D.P. Panda among many other senior faculty members.
