ITANAGAR, 7 May: Gram panchayat chairperson (GPC) of Chaglohagam segment in Anjaw district, Aniya Awailiang, died at the age of 42 on 6 May.
She is survived by her husband, two sons and two daughters.
Born on 12 August, 1979, she had been elected as the GPC in 2020 under the women’s reservation quota. (DIPRO)
