ITANAGAR, 11 May: The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), Arunachal Pradesh unit has appealed to the competent authority for reconsideration of the reported “notification for eviction of street vendors, dated 9 May” and to issue the vendors’ permit in the capital region.
Describing the plight of vendors, state unit of BMS in a representation to the Itanagar capital region deputy commissioner said that the street vendors need consideration as they are living hand to mouth by selling articles as they have no capacity to have their own land for business purpose.
