BOMDILA, 12 May: A programme on the right to information (RTI) was held at the SSB SHQ premises here in West Kameng district on Thursday.
During the programme, State Information Commissioner Sonam Yudron spoke about the importance of the RTI Act, 2005, and the “mandates given to the citizens for timely response from the government for information.”
She asked the PIO of every department to “maintain the government funding and ensure accountability and transparency.”
SSB Deputy Inspector General AKC Singh also spoke. (DIPRO)
